Golf Events



Tuesday Ladies Clinic:  Held on Tuesdays for an hour at 8am, 9am, 10am or 11am.  Clinics will be taught by a pro from the golf shop and will consist of education and drills that will be taught in a way that can be applied on the golf course and performed in a simple manner.  Cost is $10.  Click HERE to view the schedule
 
Junior Play with the Pro:  A golf clinic held on Wednesdays.  From 4:00-5:00pm, juniors will receive free range balls and tips to help improve their golf swing. From 5:00-6:00pm, juniors will play from the ELK tracks course. 
They will learn about golf course management and etiquette.  Cost will be $10 per child!!
 
Friday Men's Clinic: Held on Fridays for an hour at 9:00am.  Clinics will be taught by a pro from the golf shop and will consist of education and drills that will be taught in a way that can be applied on the golf course and performed in a simple manner.  Cost is $10.  Click HERE to view the schedule
 
Swing and Sip Clinics: Free Golf Clinics between 3:00 to 4:00pm held on Saturdays starting June 3rd.  Clinics will be taught by one of the pros on the practice tee assisting in a wide variety of instruction available to golfers of all skill levels.  Students will be able to partake in the wine tasting.  $5.00 per glass of wine.  The clinic will be free.

Family Golf: Our goal at Pinewood Country Club is to create a fun filled experience for both the parents and children to enjoy the game of golf together as a family.  Every Weekday (Monday – Thursday) starting June 4th starting at 4:00 PM Tee Times. Children under the age of 17 can play for FREE with a paid super twilight family fee. Play Golf from the “Elk Tees” as a family. Please call or sign up in the golf shop (928)-286-1110.

Golf Groups



Monday Lady 9er’s:  A group of women who play Mondays.  It is an unorganized event. For more information, contact Kathy Vogt at (623)680-1697.
 
Charlies Angels Group:  A group of men who play Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.  They play the team quota point game.  The group ranges from 35 to 50 players per day. For more information, contact Gary Pecararo at 623-776-5007.
 
Big Sticks Group:  A group of men with handicaps under 18 who play Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  They play an individual skins game and different team games. For more information, contact Don Raley at (623)566-3316.
 
Razz Group:  A group made up of men and women who play on Wednesdays.  They play team games that differ from week to week.  For more information, contact Robin Alvarez at (908) 278-7064.
 
Bandits:  A group of men who play on Fridays.  They play team games that differ from week to week.   For more information, contact Phil Howard at (928) 286-1004 or (602) 803-6516.
 
Lady Divas:  A group of women who play Tuesdays.  They play individual and team games that differ from week to week.   For more information, contact Kathy Kemp at (480)892-1041.
